Assistant Teacher (LP): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Additionally, candidates must have passed the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) for Lower Primary level.
Assistant Teacher (UP): Graduation from a recognized university and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Candidates must have passed the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) for Upper Primary level.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
