The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has announced a recruitment drive for 15 positions, including Special Officer (S&LP), Security Officer, Assistant Security Officer, Security Supervisor, and Special Officer (Land). These appointments are on a contractual basis.
Special Officer (S&LP): Retired Government officials in the rank of SDPO/Deputy Superintendent of Police or Retired Inspector of Police.
Security Officer: Retired Government officials in the rank of Assistant Commandant or Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Assistant Security Officer: Retired Government officials in the rank of Sub-Inspector.
Security Supervisor: Retired Government officials in the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector.
Special Officer (Land): Retired officers from the Land Department of the Government of West Bengal with at least 2 years of experience in roles such as Deputy DL&LRO, SDL&LRO, SRO-I, SRO-II, or Additional LAO.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 62 years as of the date of application.
Selection Process
For SO(S&LP), Security Officer, Assistant Security Officer, and Security Supervisor:
Walk-in Interview: Candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview on the specified date with all necessary documents.
For Special Officer (Land):
Application Submission: Candidates must submit their applications via email.
Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications.
Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
